Understanding your plans

Plans and funds

Level covers a range of benefits like food, work from home, education, dental, and vision. Tap into any benefit from your Level App to view your remaining balance, historical purchases, and covered merchants and items.

 

Plan balance and reset

Visit Activity to see your remaining plan balance, or tap into the plan to see extra details like when your balance resets. Note: Some plans allow funds to roll over into the next period. 

 

Coverage

Merchants and items can be covered, conditionally covered, or excluded. 

  • Covered: Purchases are approved right away
  • Conditionally covered: We’ll ask you to provide an itemized receipt after the purchase
  • Excluded: You’ll have to pay out of pocket (purchases and claims will be declined)

For coverage details, go to Activity > Plan > Coverage.

 

Coverage and submission periods

  • Coverage period: The timeframe where you can make eligible purchases 
  • Submission period: The number of days you have to submit a claim after a purchase
  • Verification period: The number of days you have to submit verification, like a receipt, to complete your transaction
  • Run-out period: The time you have to submit claims after your plan ends

 

Purchase methods

You can either use your Level Card or submit a claim for reimbursement.
