Updating account details
Employees can update their personal information (name, pronouns, email, address, phone, and recovery email) in the Account tab under Profile in the Level App.
Resetting passwords
If an employee forgets their password:
-
Select Forgot password? on the login screen.
-
Enter the email associated with their Level account.
-
Follow the reset link (valid for 15 minutes) sent by email.
Viewing Level IDs
Employees can find their unique Level ID (starting with "LVL") in the Card section of the app. If they cannot view it, switching to a personal device or different network may help.
Managing app settings
-
Push notifications: Enable notifications in Settings > Notifications > Level on iPhone, or Settings > Apps > Level on Android.
-
Face ID/Biometric sign-in: Enable secure sign-in through Face ID or Fingerprint in the app's Security settings.
Checking available balance
Employees can check their remaining balance in the Activity page,.
Transfers and non-replenishment
For non-replenishing plans, any unpaid non-qualified spend over 15 days limits additional purchases with the Level Card. For specific transfer options or guidelines, consult plan documents.
Troubleshooting sign-in issues
If sign-in issues arise, employees should:
-
Verify the correct email or sign-in method (SSO or email).
-
Try alternative emails or contact Level Support if "Identity not verified."
Linking a bank account
To quickly receive reimbursements, employees can link a bank account under Account > Bank account > Add bank. Non-U.S. employees are reimbursed by their employer directly.
Reimbursement timeline
-
Linked bank accounts: 3-5 business days.
-
Non-linked bank accounts (checks): 7-10 business days.
Prorated claims
Employees on plans that refresh can submit reimbursement for the full amount and will be reimbursed monthly as funds become available, without the need to resubmit.
Exceptions and support
For exceptions or transaction issues, employees can access Help in the Level App or contact support. If an employer would like to request a policy exception for an employee, Level recommends reaching out to success@level.com in order to do so.
